Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team in the role of Office Furniture Specialist. As a member of the Avanto family, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with talented professionals, and contribute to our mission of revolutionizing the Furniture Industry landscape. Responsibilities:
  • Respond to furniture requests within the defined time period.
  • Assess requests, based on predetermined criteria.
  • Suggest alternate product solutions, when applicable
  • Ensure requests include all required information.
  • Work with dealers to obtain quotes
  • Review quotes for accuracy
  • Provide quotes to stakeholder and ensure purchase order is issued to dealer
  • Update stakeholder with ordering and shipping status
  • Maintain accurate order status information from initial request receipt through installation
  • Escalate problems and delays as needed for a resolution
  • Document areas with potential for process improvements
  • Attend team calls to discuss process and core areas of focus
  • Utilize team to problem solve
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the office furniture industry
  • Understanding of furniture application and installation process (+)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be process-driven
  • Follow up and follow through interests and capabilities
  • Ability to multitask
  • Background check is required for this role
